When writing final reports for Flexit, it is important to explain how the project has contributed to collaboration between higher education institutions (HEIs) and organisations outside of academia.
The scientific reports will be published on RJ’s website. Scientific and financial reporting is to be submitted no later than the date specified in the contract. Reports are to be submitted by the project manager through RJ’s website. All outstanding final reports from previous Flexit projects must be submitted before applying for new projects.
To submit the final report for a grant, log in using the project manager's username (e-mail address) and password. Fill in the requested information and complete the submission process by clicking ‘Skicka in’ (‘Submit’). Also send RJ one copy of the financial and scientific final reports, signed by the project manager and the grant manager.
The financial final report is completed by the project manager in a specific field in the web form. The web form also allows you to leave a comment on the financial final report.
The scientific final report is to present the results of the project and end with a list of all publications from the project. Send RJ one copy of all monographs and anthologies generated by the project.
The easiest approach is to write the scientific report and the publication list using Word and then paste them into the relevant webpages. The report is to be written in Swedish and English. Note that the system can only handle simple text formatting. Do not use italics, header formatting, symbols, formula symbols, images or tables.
The scientific final report, which will be published in its entirety on RJ’s website, is to include no fewer than 5,000 and no more than 10,000 characters per language (including spaces, excluding publication list) and be a coherent text.
The following items are to be reported:
- Purpose of the project and how it has developed during the project period.
- A short description of how it was implemented.
- The project’s three most important results and contributions to the international research front and a discussion about this.
- New research questions generated through the project.
- The project’s international dimensions, such as contacts and material.
- How the project team has disseminated the results to other researchers and groups outside the scientific community and discuss and explain how collaboration has taken place.
- How the project has contributed to collaboration between HEIs and organisations outside of academia.
- The publication list and links to own websites. Please use headings to provide an easier overview (e.g., monographs; articles; textbooks; websites including Wikipedia; debates; popularisation of findings). Mark what has been published with OA. (Note that researchers receiving RJ grants from the 2010 application round must publish their peer-reviewed writings in journals and conference publications through open access, so that they become freely available online. As such, indicate how open access has been ensured.)
