An Ethnobotanical subject catalogue - a digitisation project

Vagn J Brøndegaards Ethnobotanical research library consists of about 80 shelf metres literature in the Nordic languages and English and German. Today, the only way to browse the collection are the two catalogues: one traditional book catalogue and one subject catalogue. In order to make the collection accessible and easier to use The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestryhas started a project to digitise the catalogues. The book catalogue will be registered in the Swedish National Book Database LIBRIS, available through the Internet. The subject catalogue will be scanned and each card will be published on The Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry's web pages, with free access. The project will start in early 2006 and be finished in April 2007.
